Procurement

Metal, aluminium, plastics, packaging and textiles — sourced through qualified suppliers in Europe and Asia, with documented origin, certificates checked in the original, and a supply chain that holds up when an audit asks.

Where it starts

How we approach this discipline

Materials and suppliers with evidence that holds

  1. Diagnosis

Procurement decides both margin and risk. The lowest price is worthless if material certificates are missing, if the supply chain tears at the first disruption, or if the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act is not satisfied.

  2. Division of work

We qualify suppliers against a fixed catalogue: material evidence, test certificates to EN 10204, capacity, financial standing and due-diligence duties. What fails the catalogue does not enter the selection — whatever the price.

  3. Safeguards

For sourcing in Asia we take on sourcing, sampling, incoming inspection and customs clearance as one continuous process, so that responsibility does not change hands at the border.

Working together

We do not earn on what we recommend

Advice and delivery are separate. We plan and tender in a manufacturer-neutral way; delivery is by a checked company from the marketplace. Anyone who earns on the equipment cannot recommend it neutrally.

  • Commission from the provider sideNone
  • No commission from the provider side

For planning and tendering we are paid by the client, not by the system vendor. A recommendation costs us nothing and earns us nothing.

  • Tendered manufacturer-neutral

Specifications are written so that more than one provider can meet them. Offers are made comparable on one common evaluation matrix.

  • Results are handed over

Process map, metric definitions, acceptance criteria — documented and handed over. Nothing stays in someone’s head or in a slide deck.

Which categories cover this discipline

Advice stays manufacturer-neutral; delivery is by a company that demonstrably commands it. None has been admitted so far — what stands here is the structure we search along for a project.

Categories in Procurement

Across discipline boundaries

Modules in Procurement reach into further disciplines

A project rarely ends at a discipline boundary. These categories sit in other disciplines but are commissioned directly by the modules above.

Across disciplines

What is demanded whatever the discipline

Some requirements hang not on the discipline but on the supply relationship. They come up in Procurement exactly as they do in every other discipline.

LkSG

German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

Across disciplines

Companies in scope have to identify human-rights and environmental risks in their supply chain, take measures, and document all of it — not once, but continuously.

The obligation arises at the purchasing company but is passed on contractually: whoever supplies gets asked for evidence — as a manufacturer, as a service provider, as a staffing agency, as a freight forwarder. Which is why this is not a procurement topic but one that turns up at the award in every discipline and every sector.

Whether and to what extent the Act applies directly to you depends on your company and is a legal question — we do not advise on it. And we assert for no company that it meets the requirements: which evidence your project needs is something we work out with you, and it is checked case by case.
