German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
Across disciplinesCompanies in scope have to identify human-rights and environmental risks in their supply chain, take measures, and document all of it — not once, but continuously.
The obligation arises at the purchasing company but is passed on contractually: whoever supplies gets asked for evidence — as a manufacturer, as a service provider, as a staffing agency, as a freight forwarder. Which is why this is not a procurement topic but one that turns up at the award in every discipline and every sector.
Whether and to what extent the Act applies directly to you depends on your company and is a legal question — we do not advise on it. And we assert for no company that it meets the requirements: which evidence your project needs is something we work out with you, and it is checked case by case.
